Welcome to Simply Single Malt, my blog that reviews single malt scotch whiskies. I want to keep it simple, without fancy prose, poetic descriptions, or trying to determine that any given whisky is a 92 or a 93. I'm going to call it like I taste it, and give you one of three ratings: "skip it," "buy it," or "don't miss it." Occasionally I might add a special modifier: "keep it in stock." Already you can guess what these ratings mean.
